Medium Popcorn is a Rotten Tomatoes accredited movie review podcast that aims to entertain and save folks a few bucks if a film is worth skipping…
Medium Popcorn finds Brandon Collins and Justin Brown unleashing their inner Siskel and Ebert so persuasively that no less than RogerEbert.com describes the repartee as “hilarious, back-and-forth bull sessions” and “an addictive pleasure.” Despite the vulgar tagline, the duo’s weekly episodes belie an ever-evolving penchant for embracing film as an entry point for addressing larger social issues. Vulture, A.V. Club, TimeOut New York and black entertainment powerhouse Shadow and Act have cited Medium Popcorn on their “Best Of” lists, while Rotten Tomatoes counts the show among its accredited review outlets. The podcast has also provided press coverage for such prestigious film festivals such as the New York Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival.
